ABOUT MARK
Ever since Mark watched Ringo Starr drum with the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show at just two years old, he knew he was destined for a life behind the drum kit. Mark says it was as if the drums chose him, igniting a nearly supernatural pull toward rhythm that he could never shake. By age five, he was already playing on his first drum set, and by twelve, he landed his first professional gig. With a relentless drive, Mark left college to pursue music full-time, eventually scoring his first world tour with R&B legend Brenda Russell at the age of 26.
In 1992, Mark held his first "drum clinic" and discovered he had inherited his parents' gift for teaching, coupled with a knack for connecting deeply with audiences. After leading nearly 1,000 drum clinics around the world, he evolved this unique mix of performance, storytelling, and teaching into powerful presentations tailored for corporate and collegiate audiences.
With training from top speech coaches, directors, and acting coaches, Mark honed his presentation skills to become a dynamic corporate keynote speaker. Juggling his speaking career with his touring schedule, he soon found himself inspiring corporate audiences on his days off from world tours.
Over his 32-year touring career, Mark performed with some of the biggest names in rock and pop, entertaining over a billion people worldwide. He began to realize that the lessons and insights from his experiences on stage held the power to inspire others to reach new heights in purpose and achievement. After the pandemic, Mark recognized that his “rock show disguised as a keynote” gave him a deeper sense of fulfillment than touring. Embracing this newfound purpose, he stepped off the touring stage to focus exclusively on corporate speaking, where he still brings his drum set on stage as part of his one-of-a-kind experience for clients.

MARK SCHULMAN has enjoyed an unprecedented career for over more than 30 years as a first call drummer for world-class rock and pop artists. He was voted ‘Top 3 Pop-Rock Drummers’ in the Modern Drummer Reader's Poll in 2014 and was the featured cover artist in the May 2019 issue of Modern Drummer. Mark has done four record breaking world tours with P!NK and continued to work with her for 15 years.
Mark’s resume reads like a “Who’s Who” of international Rock n’ Roll royalty including acts such as Cher, BILLY IDOL, FOREIGNER, SHERYL CROW, STEVIE NICKS, BEYONCE’ and so many other world–class artists. He has drummed with VELVET REVOLVER at Ozzfest and for a crowd of 225,000 at Glastonbury Festival with SIMPLE MINDS. Mark has appeared on nearly every American, European and Australian variety show including The Grammys, David Letterman, The Tonight Show, Conan O’Brian, Jon Stewart, American Idol, Paul O’ Grady, X-Factor, Wetten Das, The Arias and more.
Schulman is a classically trained cellist and as a teen, played with the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic. He played cello on the 2009/2010 P!NK tour! He is also a music producer, trained audio engineer and studio co- owner of WEST TRIAD RECORDING STUDIO in Venice, California. As an active educator, Mark taught at the LOS ANGELES MUSIC ACADEMY and as one of the world’s most sought after drum clinicians hosting clinics in countries around the world. Mark produced his first DVD in his studio entitled, ‘A Day in the Recording Studio; A Do-It-Yourself Guide to Recording Great Drum Tracks for Drummers and All Musicians’ distributed by Hudson Music.
